    Default parry sound ice fishing

I was just wondering if anybody has info about the little lakes all around the parry sound region being frozen yet. I'm sure they are but just wanted to know for sure.

I was in the haliburtons over the holidays and the little lakes around there and even some of the bigger ones were frozen, so a safe guess would be yes, if anything it's colder up there. Welcome aboard!

    Thanks,

I was almost sure they were but it never hurts to make sure. And please tell me you did some fishing!

Use caution. I have a buddy that lives in parry sound and just talked to him tonight. Most of the back lakes are good but he almost went for a swim in one of them last weekend. and still open water in the bay

With the winter we are having (or not having) you have to be careful everywhere you go. Don't go out without safety gear, and bring a buddy if you can

Yea everything is good away from current spots of course. If ya dont know the lakes , make sure there is tracks. The big sound is totally open and probably wont harden up this year. Depot Harbour is 2.5 inchs CLOSE to shore but still open out at the nets...
Everywhere else for the most part has over 5 inchs.... Have fun.
