Not sure of the reason, but probably has something to do with the registry, there's been quite a few threads about this and seems to be the norm across the province now with CT getting the guns back.

Some Can Tire stores got back into gun well before the registry left us. Belleville is one of them.

Yep matter of fact I noticed yesterday Belleville had a sign out advertising a clearance on all firearms in the store. Didn't stop to see what kind of deals they might have.

None of the CT stores here in London sell guns but I remember wene I was a kid they did. I will never forget the day my dad took me in there and bought me my first 22 rifle. It would be nice if thay started selling guns aroud here again.

Just starting out
It is store specific, remember most are locally owned. Belleville went huge on hunting about 3 years ago. Not just firearms but extensive ammo and tons of accessories. Worth a special trip. Stores in Toronto are the opposite.

My sister worked for CT until a few months ago on the head office. CT has made a decision to move back into some of its 'traditionl' lines like hunting. Nothing to do with LGR, has to do with product differentiation from Target and others...

I spoke to the manager yesterday here in stratford and they are going to sell guns as well according to him there is a huge demand for sporting and hunting guns as opposed to a few years ago and CT wants to be in on the market again.
