2nd year shooting the Solid Steel Broad heads. I am a cut on impact shooter and shot thunder heads for 12 years and Montec's for 4 years when I started hearing alot of good things from the guys on the western elk hunting forums. Made the swap and am glad I did! 100x more accurate and crazy crazy sharp and the only other heads I have ever seen compare to them are the German Kenetics!

They arn't cheap but well worth it!

    They look pretty impressive RyanB.
I would personally be inclined in getting a set of those as well.
Have you taken any game with these? We are all ears if you have stories!

They remind me of the old 245 Anderson blades.

I took a doe with them last year but it was a clear shot thru the ribs and took out the lungs at 25 yards. Tons of blood and fluids but didn't notice much of a difference from the same sort of shot taken with my older thunder heads or montec's. That being said what I can tell you is these heads are beyond razsor sharp and stay sharp unlike the Montec's did. My practice arrow has been shot probably over 100 times into my Rinehart target and countless shots into my 3D and I can still shave the hairs on my arm with it and I can make it even sharper with just a peice of leather! What I like about them is the accuracy! I practice out past 50 yards with them and they fly way better than anything I have ever shot.
The elk guys have had great results with them with total shoulder pass thru's being possible. If you go on his website check out some of the durability video's he has posted...impressive to say the least!

Sounds good to me! Thanks again for mentioning this product. It's not something that you see everyday.
