Just curious if anyone else is passing the time making their own worm harnesses or lures?
I have a couple of favorites that I use on a regular basis and every winter I re-tie them for the spring. I just use a 14lb floro and tie it up and go........does anyone use do this as well?
Ya I make my own soft plastic jerk baits and worm harness's.
I also sell a lot of them for Walleye jigging in the local rivers , ST Clair and Detroit River.

Been making my own worm harnesses for a couple of years now.
Good way to pass the time....but had to sell my boat this past summer, so I guess I wont be doing any more, cause no way now to get way out in L. Erie to use any.
I make my own Harnesses too.
Just started carving out some of my own wood body crankbaits when SHTF here. Thought it would be a good way to pass time on colder evenings. I've got a bunch of blocks sitting on the bench with shapes drawn out bit thats it. Been too bloody busy now. Maybe next year.

Fly tying, bamboo fly rod , worm harnesses and turkey calls. Not in that order but whenever there’s time one of them will fill the void. The kids take the rest of the time from me lol
I've been refurbishing those old lures that usually end up in the bottom of a tackle box or some that I've picked up off snags. I also bought 30 unpainted crankbaits off Amazon that I painted and have 30 more on order along with eyes, hooks and split rings. Darned if I know what I'm going to do with 60 plus crankbaits and 500 plus jigs. Most dedicated for walleye are various schemes in flourescent yellows, oranges and golds while those for lakers are blues/silvers or lime greens.
What weight and material do you use for your worm harnesses? I am just using 14lb floro.
Ya, I also have a couple of turkey pot calls that need to be finished up as well........but I need another pot call like a hole in the head right about now. Maybe if someone wants to trade calls or calls for lures let me know.
