So I went out and purchased a caller for my son and I and I have a few options to go hunt Coyotes. But there in lies the problem. We have scouted for them in the past and found lot's of track but they are just all over the place crisscrossing the fields and back into the forth, how do we decide where to set up?
Not quite the same as deer hunting.
In a way it is..... If you are hunting field edges for deer, use the same technique just sit about 150-180 yds out from the bush..... You need to watch your wind and your movements, so not that much different than hunting deer......Quote:

They move during the day this time of year as well, driving around in the morning you can spot them. From there see if you can find a way to sneak in and a setup that'll work.
I'm likely going out Friday (unless things change) if you want to/can come out. We're running dogs though but the process of figuring out where they are is the same. Just instead of sneaking in and calling we send the dogs to wake them up.
