B.C. Working Up Some New Gun Legislation
I found a release by The Canadian Press interesting, "British Columbia targets gun violence in new legislation"
"Solicitor General Mike Farnworth said some of the changes in the proposed law would include penalizing drivers who transport illegal firearms, would allow for vehicles to be impounded that are used to transport illegal firearms and would prevent gang members from using shooting ranges."
The thing that caught my attention was the “ preventing gang members from using shooting ranges.” Do gang members actually use shooting ranges? If so, you would think they would want to encourage what appears to be a legal activity, unless of course they are afraid, that some legal target practice might make gang members better shots than the police.
