Just wondering if anyone has been out checking yet, or is it still early.
I’ve been checking my asparagus spots, but they haven’t come up yet either.

To early. Get me some too.
If they are over ripe probably good to leave them there, if they go over ripe at home maybe try making a slury and growing your own around the yard. How to make the slurry starts about 5:30 and watch until they put it on, they added the wood ash right before watering it in.

and just as an extra for those interested, adding mushrooms like wine cap and oyster mushrooms to gardens.

Interesting video ! Still early yet for shrooms but soon ! Asparagus is still a ways off.
Just pulled the first handfull of asparagus from the garden, as long as we don't get a freeze should have quite a bounty by the end of the week. Leek has recovered well and made a nice adding to this mornings omlete. The ramp patch just started to leaf out. Still think its early for the wild stuff just yet.
Going to go look now. Thanks for the heads up.
No luck for me and the daughter, found a couple chunks of chaga on a fallen birch might try it just for fun.
