Cousins bird
Guided my cousin today, since I’m tagged out. What’s better then being in the woods with no pressure lol we didn’t hear nothing the first 40 mins. I told my cousin let’s walk and get up this hill that was bordering a valley. As soon as we got to the top and called, boom gobbles. we dropped back and did a big circle to try and meet up with these birds. They weren’t responding to any calling that was lower then them . As soon as we were on the same level they couldn’t stop gobbling, but wouldn’t come in. We spotted them and got closer using the terrain to our advantage. These birds were in a flock like the winter which I found weird. He picked the closes one for a safe shot and dropped his bird. Great season this year hope everyone had fun.
