Good reminder. No joy for me either. Saw and heard lots before the opener. Then nothing. LOL.
Did mine with morning coffee but there was no Happy, Happy; Joy, Joy !!!! in it. I seen one shootable bird the rest were Hens.

X3 glad I'm not the only one. After a banner year last year with 2 great birds this year although had birds around me every time out things just didn't come together to put a bird or 2 downQuote:

Just seen hen with 8 plus chicks. Their flying already tried to get picture their too fast.
Hen had a pop pop call I never heard before when she was trying to group them up again
Thanks to most for making me feel kinda normal.....:)only heard a few gobbles this year....
The report will be a quick one. Very poor season for both my son and I. Thankfully we don't buy 2nd tags till we fill the 1st ones so that saved me cash.Quote:
