What Step One permits:

Outdoor social gatherings and organized public events of up to 10 people

Religious services and ceremonies, including weddings and funerals, with the number of participants limited outdoors by the space required to keep two metres apart, and indoors by a cap of 15% capacity

Non-essential retail with no restrictions on items to be sold but a 15% cap on capacity

Essential and other select retail at 25% capacity limits with no ban on non-essential items

Restaurant outdoor dining of up to four people at a table with exceptions for larger households

Outdoor fitness classes, personal training and sport training with up to 10 people

Day camps for kids provided they follow specific guidelines

Overnight camping and short-term rentals

Concerts, theatres and cinemas may open outdoors with no more than 10 performers

Outdoor horse racing and motor speedways with no spectators

Outdoor attractions such as zoos and botanical gardens with capacity limits

Nah, I'm done with the cow manure. I will take nothing less than a full wide open province like our state neighbours down south.

Yep wide open and many state's have have 20% less first doses than us . But it was vaccines that got them open lol.

I still do not see anything about crown land camping? But it is a moot point in these parts, people are out in the bush already.

No kidding.
Yesterday's numbers were under 500, first time since Sept last year. Only 15,000 tests and ICU numbers dropping like a rock.
I guess if we go back to testing 50,000 / day our numbers will be over 1500. When the ICU numbers no longer fit the narrative the testing significantly decreases. Manipulation of numbers a kid could figure out..lol

We haven't tested this little since last June

Also last June 2nd 404 cases lol. Not much of a difference

With the emergency act extended until December, I'm sure around September they triple the testing. Bang back up to 1500ish cases, time to lock us down again and continue the push on vaccinations...lol

Fishfood. Couple points of order.

In the US as of May 25th.
52% one dose.
42% two dose (fully vaccinated)

In Ontario.
62% one dose
08% two doses

That is a huge, huge difference, given the efficacy of them. Have we forgotten why manufacturers are against spreading doses out over 3-4 months instead of the recommended 2 weeks…..

As for testing.
You do know for most people it’s voluntary. Right? The labs still have the capacity….Why might fewer and fewer and fewer be going to get tested?

No doubt, many, think they are immune having received just one shot. No doubt, many are taking fewer precautions. Lol, enough people here in different threads are fed up….throwing caution to the wind…. No doubt, fewer and fewer wake up with a fever or cough and thinking I should get tested…

Testing numbers are a joke; the only people who are volunteering to be tested now are if they think they're sick and why the positivity rate is high.

When the last time you saw a film clip of people standing in line for a test...hasn't happened in months !!!

It might be worth mentioning as well, that any of us can buy an antigen test at Shoppers…$40

Anyone think the province can or will pay to test people for antigens. :)

Almost half the US is fully dosed ( let’s say with efficacy of 90%) That plus whatever percent of the pop has established natural immunity. They are probably nearing the magical 70% (new variants/perpetual influenza not withstanding) if they aren’t already there…they will be soon.

Canada?
Well it’s took 6 months, to get 60% one shot…

No doubt, given their screw up the Feds (and Ford) are using the arrival of summer to “buy time”. Get as many as possible one shot. And save face/votes. And hopefully by Sept/Oct have two shots into people.

With respect to phase 1.
It’s a joke, like a lot of other things. Phase 2 is what, tentatively mid July?
