Yes there are.
If you're thinking of hunting in that area you might as well drive around pre-season to scout all the farmland that's available. The turkeys will be in those fields in the morning and in the evening eating the corn or soy beans. You can then knock on some doors to gain permission to hunt on their land.
I used to hunt turkey in the spring on private land nearby. When action slowed down I would sometimes just go for a drive on the roads through the Larose forest. Often I would see turkeys on or to the side of these roads, and sometimes I would then set up in the woods and try to call them over. I never got a turkey there, but I didn't dedicate much time to it since I had better private land to hunt nearby.
Keep in mind that there is a large section of the forest that you cannot hunt in, and a lot of the forest is monoculture pine plantation.
