Deer With Covid

The recent announcement by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture that its researchers found Covid -19 antibodies in wild white tailed deer populations in Pa. and three other states - indicating the animals were infected with the virus - left hunters here scratching their heads. At this point in time scientists are not able to say exactly what the findings mean - boy one wonders how good deer meat is going to be - with CWD and now COVID -

Interesting! Have they done any research on the domestic population of livestock? I have a feeling if it is in the wild herd, there is most likely a good chance it's in the domesticated herd. A good reason to cook the meat well.
