Hey guys, need some advice on the above...been doing some research on the above and all the highly recommended tires seem to be over aggressive threads (ie. BF Goodrich All-Terrain or Goodyear Wrangler) and my main concern is noise/humming while driving. Any suggestions on what they use/like....this would be all season long

Cooper At/3's are the way to go. they have a better road rating then the other two brands. Check them out at Trash and Can.
What king of tire are you looking for? If you just want a road tire, there are endless options. If you want an all-terrain, there are fewer options.
I've used the Wrangler Duratrac and I currently have the BFG A/T. Both excellent tires, good in the winter too. But it sounds like that is not the type of tire you are looking for.
I also have a set of Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 on an SUV. I just got them later this past the winter, so I don't have a lot of experience with them yet, but they are more of a road-oriented all-terrain tire. They are winter rated, and they performed fine in the winter (on-road, mostly). They have pretty good reviews. I got them for a decent sale price at Canadian Tire.
If you are looking for a A/T only I would suggest the Firestone Destination AT, long lasting, quiet and durable tire my last set on my 4Runner lasted 130,00KM
If you want a little more aggressive but not noisy tire I like the Faulkan Wild Peak ATW3 also durable and long lasting and great in winter my last tires on my current Ram truck lasted 110,000KM
In my mind there is no better tire than Michelin msltx. For an all around tire. Great on the highway good in mud and snow and after running a fleet of vehicles for 20 years the longest lasting
I think they recently renamed them to cross climate or something like that
I went with Cooper All weather tires (Not the same as all season)
I second that. I had a set of Michelin LTX A/T on my GMC Sierra that were fantastic. The best tire I’ve ever owned. I got almost 180 000 km from them.Quote:

I put 80 to 90k on my truck every year and have been doing that for 25+ years. Miles are probably 80% pavements, 19.5% gravel, 0.5% unmaintained 4WD road.
Tried just about everything and for my trucks the Duratracs seem to be the best compromise. That being said truck is a one-ton diesel not a Tacoma. Lighter truck probably changes the equation so take it for what it is worth.
I have Michelin’s on my 2020 f250 you can have them for free 20” garbage in mud snow pure garbage
i have had bfg's ko2 and were great at first but wore fast and really sucked as they wore. they wore loud but good on ice poor on snow and rain. wont buy again. now running cooper at3 since last dec, they have snowflake on them and very impressed great on snow and ice and rain and in bush. im no rock hopper but do lots of bush roads and one tire for all 4 seasons , the coopers are very reasonable price and can tire has their massive tire sale coming up in october
