On the way home from work I seen that a lot of the corn in one field was off. It looked like enough of it was off for me to do a quick setup after dinner.
Not knowing if any birds would show up I went in their light.
Wearing crocks, shorts and a tee shirt, I placed 20 silos out from the edge of the standing corn. I tucked myself in the first row of standing corn and waited. About 30 minutes went by before one flock come in just as the sun was going down. 3 shots, two birds down. Not bad for the first time out. No other birds came through.
Might give it another try on the weekend.
