Hi,
just trying to locate a freezer in the Thunder Bay area. I’ve called 3 butchers asking if they hang wild game or process… each said no.
Does anyone know of a place we can bring deer or bear to hang- if the weather is too warm? Won’t need processing.

I Thunder Bay its the same price to hang a deer as it is to have them butcher wrap and freeze.
Really? I’ve been to really remote areas in Ontario $20 a day to hang a moose. We like to bring animals home whole, especially if we were travelling through the states. Considering we aren’t this year, it’s still the option we’d like. We will be hunting 1st week of rifle … day time might be too warm just wanted an alternate option. Worst case I’ll just process it and pack it in coolers.Quote:

$300 to hang a moose? I'm assuming that price is for several days (week +). But I found a few local guys in the area that are willing to hang if needed, sure looks like we will need too. We could just bring a chest freezer and quarter is up, keep the freezer at a cool temp. Thanks!
I have a large styrofoam chest for sale in the classified. Everything stayed frozen after 3 days and probably would have for an extra few days.Quote:
