Yesterday witnessed a massive tree slaughter by a monster porcupine.
Tamaracks one by one,all dead.
Big ones, likely 20 years plus old....
What is actually the rule to hunt porcupines?
I know-they can be harvested under small game licence, South from the French River.
But-what is the rule AFTER harvesting the animal.
Like-what the law requires to do with the carcass.
Edible animals must be eaten, furbearing animals(the ones can be hunted)must have hide saved and used up.......
What about the porcine?
This is public land, and i would "love"to save those trees nearby, but at the other hand,i am not looking for a trouble.
Thanx
