It's a tight slot for sure but I actually think it will help the operators. Last bunch of years the reg has been 2 over 46cm. Last year i landed 100+ walleye on Nip - only 3 over 46cm. If i applied the new slot to last years catch i would had +/- 15 keepers versus 3 with old slot. Most guys i have spoke to are looking forward to actually catching some keepers this season versus past years when they were very elusive.Quote:

Agreed, it is a very tight slot (15.75" - 17.5") over the past few years have caught tons that are just under the min size of 18.1" (15 - 18"), so this will be a nice change.Quote:
