Hey everyone,
Tried the feeder this late season in one of my spots. Resulted in pretty much one night visit without a touch :) and everything emptied by squirrels.
It a bit lengthy video, but if you can review the doe behaviour and provide some suggestions.

It looks to me like the doe picked up the scent thus decided not to touch the corn mix; however any expert can comment/suggest to improve the setup etc..

What did you try to feed it with?
I must admit to being a complete failure as a hunter as I couldn't see any deer let alone what they were doing.

A couple of thoughts. Never a good idea to introduce corn mid-winter to deer. Their main food at this time is browse - mainly twigs, bark and cedar. Throwing corn into the mix if that food source isn't a part of their diet already, can result in death - as the acids in their stomachs are not able to break down the starchy food source, ultimately causing them to 'starve' to death. If you are going to feed corn, best to introduce it mid to late summer, so that they can become accustomed to it.
I put down fresh natural cedar. This is a staple food source for whitetail in winter and they eat it up like candy. Best of all, it costs nothing and comes with no risk of doing harm to the animals.
