So evey winter always see alot of notices of either found or lost gear on the ice.
Always a good reminder to double check that your load is secured before moving>

ROFL!! I wonder how many of these adventures start with "Hold my beer...."
That's kinda funny

Haha I always put the key in my pocket, I've heard of people sneaking up and stealing fish or equipment and pictured that same scenario if someone jumped on my quad.
What a scare that would give you! I was surprised how far he dragged it "by accident"
That was funny and scary at the same time. Could of been worse, glad know one got hurt.
Wow. I’m not sure if I would have bailed or not.
I once watched a guy on callender bay pulling off his ice hut. It was one of those aluminum sheds from Canadian tire. Buddy tied a rope around the whole thing and dragged it about 200 yards with his pickup before the hut and all its contents blew up. I guess he hit a pressure crack. There was debris everywhere. The guy didn’t stop until he got to the parking lot. What a show.
i've been ice fishing simcoe and watched these guys on the atv's and snowmobiles just going at top speed to get to a spot , i just take my time and find all the stuff they drop off its like a tackle store just you dont have your pick of what you get. keep the throttle down guys
