Check this out

now that is quite the story and bird. One of my first Toms was a hardy bird, I shot him at about 30yds he dropped and never moved. i went out and brought him back to my hid. I packed up my stuff put gun in case, turned to get bird and he jumps up and heads for the field. I had to drop everything and run after him. He managed to get 5 yds before a got him and basically did the same at this guy did. You never know if they are really dead for a bit I guess, I'm always very careful anymore
