It was always said due to the unprecedented numbers moneys were released in an effort to get the money in needy hands ASAP. Now if one received the overpayment and kept it you'd have to figure there would be a reckoning at some point.Quote:

I was in the process of repaying my CERB over payment monthly.
Filled my 2021 tax return and they confiscated my entire return credit toward my CERB repayment. Would have been nice if they asked me before taking my return $,,,lol
Oh well I'm paid up now... :)
Glad I didn't get caught up in the mess.
