Bronte again

Got all setup by 7:15 this morning. Trolled from 90 to 150 FOW between Shells Pier and Bronte... Lost a couple maybe 3 but managed to bring in 5 I think, 3 shakers and 2 youngers..... Nice calm morning, found most fish down between 45-60 ft down.... Used a spoon on one rigger and a spin doctor and fly on the other rigger.... The 3 shakers all came on the spin doctor 45ft down.

They are salmon, chinooks I believe...They can grow to an impressive size in 4 years, 30lbs or more

Its sometimes hard to tell with a juvenile fish, you are correct, black gums = Chinook. 10-20lbs is the best eating size.
