That reminded me. We watched a couple of American hunters attempt that method on a bull Moose at Mooseland Resort many years ago. They'd had a few pops and ripped the bumper right off their truck. I never laughed so hard in my life.
The one and only deer i had butchered by a pro was done exactly like that doe.
Only-my butcher tied "the hide" to an eye bolt in the concrete floor,and lifted the deer hanging on an electric hoist high up in his shop.
The hide dropped to the eyebolt.
About as fast -as this guys truck method.
We tried it on a cow moose and ended up ripping her head clean off and ended up skinning the rest by hand while the camp elders basically shamed us in the darkQuote:
