how else would we know the wind direction when in a tree stand lol
When I’m in a permanent tree stand I use a jug, the rest of the time I do like the wildlife.
The smell of urine and the sound of tinkling on leaves attracts deer.

Granted, you might not get that trophy swamp buck if you pee up wind of him, but curiosity does get the better of most animals, including us. If there’s a new smell in your house that doesn’t quite register, you are more likely to follow your nose and find out what it is.
