re: WMU # 41

Hi everyone, managed to drive up last Sun. Unfortunately not much action as I managed only 2 birds in 4-5 hours of hunting...only consolation was the last bird was a Spruce, forgot how beautiful they were as it been a few years since I connected. 75-80% foilage still on the trees (remember) this was Oct 2, and only 60% changed colours, this cold front could have an impact...still lots of green foilage on the sides of the roads/trails which makes spotting them that much harder....anyone gets out, let me know as I might do one last drive

Here in 57 and 55a the leaves are over 90 percent changed. Shouldn’t be to long be there gone. Spruce grouse are beautiful birds.

congrats on making the trip and finding some success. Definitely try to make another one and don't forget to post some pics and tell us how you make out.
