When hunting a buddy's farm, can we breast and bag our kills back at his house and then take them home without the wings attached? That's technically done "in a location other than the hunting area", isn't it? Along the same line, can my buddy give me some of his cut to take home, or would that exceed my limit? The regs say only that whole birds count against the limit of the receiver.
When ever your transporting I believe you need to have a wing attached for identification. But I guess it’s up to whoever is pulling you over. It’s like fishing. I could catch my limit and my buddy catches his limit, we clean it at his cottage and we eat his fish but he saves me a fillet to add to my limit to bring home. If by chance your driving home and get checked your over your limit regardless. It’s really hard to prove yourself in that situation and not worth the charge.
