Tonight at 7pm our latest canoe adventure will be up for viewing on YouTube. Our 6 day adventure of the Chiniguichi Waterway had us travelling a total of 80+km over 6 days. The fishing was excellent. Hope you enjoy the scenery.

Reminds me of me and another 6 people went 3 years ago to Ispathina,to climb the"Mountain".78 km,62km paddling,rest was portage.
We did it in 4.5 days or 4 nights .....Early August.
Great great weather-no fishing, but we had nice big swims in the Smoothwater lake.
No blackflies,and generally shorts and T shirts weather.
Once had a half day rain only-we got lucky.
One advice i could give to anyone-Go when the weather makes the trip enjoyable.When it is cold, windy and especially rainy-the beauty is taken out from the trip.
16km of portage makes for a memorable trip. I find anymore I remember the hard times more than when things go easy. If a day is too short there's too much time to kill. Do you have any routes plans for next year. I am eager to start the planning process again. Thanks for watching.

Done it about 15-17 years ago. 10 nights, with some serious portages and arrangements for drop off/pickup by a friend.
However the scenery is well worth it and it comes with bragging rights [emoji6][emoji6][emoji6]

I assume this is a different route then what they dub "The Meanest Link" which I think has you visiting all of the park offices throughout Algonquin an extended tour of such?
We have be thinking about paddling from Cochrane to Moosonee. Will likely be extensively researching this route over the colder months.
