Grouse hunt

Great weekend out in Northern Ontario, Canada on Ruffed Grouse with Jessie. She had plenty of grouse contacts and by the end of the first day on them she started connecting the dots. She handled those running grouse well and recovered the wounded ones with ease. Couldn’t be more proud of her in her first real hunting season.

Lots of bushwhacking got us and Jessie plenty of grouse contacts over the 2 days.

Always great to get out with someone local that shares his off the beaten path grouse covers.
