Cut corn field coyote
Did two sets at first light on another farm with no luck. Got to this farm and setup sometime after 9am. Played some dying rabbit sounds on and off before this female coyote pops into the cut corn field 12 minutes in. She started making her way up the fence/bush line but after 20 yds or so, she stopped and started to turn away. I yelled out a loud WOLF sound, she stopped and I took the 100 yd shot off my makeshift tree branch monopod because I forget my shooting sticks in the truck :(
At the shot, she dropped so fast I thought I missed. They blend in so well that I didn't notice her dead until I walked up to the impact site. I didn't see her dead until I got about 10 yds away... We could use one inch of snow. :) Anyway, another great morning hunt.
