Ice has been safe for several weeks but I haven’t found the time to get out yet. Wanted to go for trout, but I was outvoted to go south to fish for perch. Glad we did, ended the day with 38 perch, a bluegill, and a crappie. Perch weren’t massive, but were a nice size (8-10 inches). Threw back hundreds of small perch and pumpkinseeds.
Well done how far south did you go, don't need to know lake just general area

Those are the best size perch my favorite size are the 10.5 s ,it's just the perfect size lol.

Kawartha highlands, towards the south end. Ice was great, here it’s good in most of the Kawartha’s even further south.Quote:
