I was just watching a video on You Tube and found out that Pearson's fuel dump area for planes passes over Lake Simcoe.
Over the lake?
Yes I see safety as vital but when this happens usually these are on long finals so I don't see where some movement of the flight path can't be moved enough to avoid the lake.
But I suspect dumping over the lake is seen as a safer location for those on the ground.
