G Drivers Road Test

My son will be going for his G Drivers test soon and will be doing it in Kemptville.
It's been almost 40 years since I did my drivers test and we did not have this graduated drivers license back then.
Can anyone tell me what and how the test him?

One piece of advice, exaggerate your head movements when checking blind spots and check for pedestrians before turns. Those are the main things outside of the obvious following the traffic laws. Those are the only marks I got on any of my tests were "not looking" because they didn't see a head turn.

I recommend a ball cap so they can see the head movement more clearly.

They made my oldest daughter take the test again for not looking enough .

I was in a full size Silverado and got to bump the curb for the parallel parking lol.

They will take him on a hwy that could be an 80km rd or a legit hwy if you have one in the area I did mine in Lindsay just needed to do hwy 7. Don't forget to check the blind spots they will probably make him merge into an area.

I took my road test at age 17 after I had my "90 day" (there,that shows you how old I am) with a tester who smelled like a brewery. He failed me on my first attempt for hitting the curb while parallel parking on a hill. The next time I took the test,they assigned me to the same guy and he still smelled like a brewery. Right in front of a dozen people taking their written portion and a couple of folks who worked there,I said in a loud voice "Glad to see you're not pissed this time like you were last time." We went out to my Mom's car I was using for test,he signed my sheet on the spot and I didn't have to drive one inch. The world has gotten a lot more complicated since those days.

The test is mostly the same as it was 40 years ago. Exaggeration the checking is a good idea.

...both my girls (10 years ago) did there tests in Winchester. Apparently the guy doing the testing there was an easier tester. But a lot can change in 10 years.
