14 million lost jobs.

Well I talked about this awhile ago last year maybe the year before just after the lockdowns. New reports show its a reality.

New reports from the wef show a 2 percent jobs loss or 14 million workers world wide by 2027 or in the next 5 years. Even cnn did a piece on it.

Welcome to our future as machines take over our workplaces. Factory workers ID be scared. Because the next big update may have you walking out without a job.


Yes Canada will be eliminating jobs too
We already are. We can't biuld more gas plants in Ontario because we are phasing them out. We pay more untill they fix it with more automated workers and a cleaner energy with a lower carbon footprint.


The grass is never usually greener on the other side.

Our allies are doing it so we have to keep up the Jones. Again that sides us with the wef and un agendas. Where they "work with industry and government's around the world".

Nice of them to keep reminding us the government's work with them.

well since they can't find enough people to fill the current jobs needed, perhaps that isn't a bad thing.
I was in Michigan the other day and the McDonalds was advertising $21/hr looking for employees. That's USD for a job at a fast food joint and they can't fill the jobs? Not sure where all the workers went, but clearly there is a lack of willing employees

I think it's good and bad and the timing couldn't be at worse time . Banks are collapsing millions will loss their jobs permanently,when they call a recession that will wipe away at least a million more jobs in the usa . Maybe even more who knows. People are struggling to pay their bills and keep things together while we hold off work to wait for their better technology. Cost of living will go up whipping out the rest of the middle class we will end up with the top and the rest.


If people aren't working where do they get their income from? Maybe people don't want to work at crappy McDonald's I don't blame them lol. Those are just the beginning of job cuts. As we make our transition we will cut jobs and add robots a factory that has a 1000 workers could be switched over to run with 750 workers leaving 250 workers in the dark.

Like I asked last year what is the cost of this transition? All the people that we should be focusing on have warned us already they have openly said it meetings as it will better the world.

But what will it cost us? They never told us personally why would they. But they have hinted it out.

Welcome to the beginning of the opportunity this went along with it. They know what they are doing .

It's easier to stay on social assistance than to actually work. lol

I go to work and am taxed to death to support social assistance programs. Maybe I should quit and go on welfare like many have done... :)

I don't know would you still rather shovel dirt by hand or use a loader.

I don't know, there just doesn't seem to be enough people who need to work. I find it mind boggling.
I can remember when I graduated saying I'd do anything for $10/hr. Granted that was 30 years ago, but I sure wouldn't have turned down a job at McD's that paid over $56K a year. Those used to be part time jobs as you worked through school, now they can't fill positions at those pay rate? Amazing

I watch my neighbor who is on social assistance chopping wood, moving furniture, cutting grass, doing everything a normal able adult can do. Every couple weeks he ties one on and drinks until he pukes in the yard then they have a domestic.

I think a lot of these people make income through kijiji or marketplace in cash or else leach off of family members.

I worked multiple minimum wage jobs (at the same time) before I was accepted into a trade. People don't have that hunger anymore, they get things too easily. Rest assured I do work with some 1st generation Canadians who definitely have that hunger and will fill the gap.

People seem to forget that for the most part Baby Boomers are now retired and generation X (My generation) is starting to retire. I have at least 1 friend that retired at 48 another at 52 and my boss is retiring in 3 years at 60 and I will retire in 6 years at 60.

The next generations well they haven't figured out what they want to do yet.

There's a ton of pre automation technology coming into construction in the past couple of years, remote controlled cranes and drill rigs caught my attention as that eliminates 1 job per rig in some situations (spotter). Designers have been eliminating field welding where possible for at least a few years. Businesses will adapt no matter what, as long as everybody has the same labor shortage, they will be able to charge whatever is necessary to get the project done.

Yep. They can't even figure out which bathroom to use. I'm not the least bit optimistic for their future.
