How Do You Haul Out Your Deer (No Quad)?

I've been using a modified appliance cart (wider axil, bigger tires) and it works pretty well but it's still a lot of work. I've been looking at the Hawk Crawler Game Cart. It's pricey but it seems to do the job pretty well. What does everyone use and if you have used this cart what are your thoughts? TC

gold old fashion way, by the legs or antlers lol, i know theres another way if you have rope and find a nice thick round log/ stick, 2 loops around either side of the log and rope around the deers legs and push rather than pull weight if you know what i mean. better for your back and arms.

i have a atv.... im spoiled lol

Plastic kids snow sled, works great through a wet swamp where a wheeled cart would get stuck.

X2 on the kids sled. It glides over grasses and mud better than wheels on a game cart can roll. And not much tipping hazard because the weight is all at ground level. It’s still no walk in the park but it gets the job done.

Pelican ice fishing sleds are good if you can't get an ATV in to where you dropped the deer. Short of that,start dragging.

I have pulled a lot of deer out of the bush for hours. front legs locked behind deers head with rope than that rope tied to a good stick about two feet long. bought a game carrier as I'm to broken to the pull now but never use it as I have quad now. I also bought a harness that pretty much does the same as the stick, use that to get deer to where I can use quad. the kids sleigh works well when snow on the ground.

I’ve dragged more deer out by the horns than I can count. I also have a game cart from Cabelas and an ATV. The ATV gets the bulk of the work now.

I got a an expedition pulk for winter outings. Always in my car during hunting season
