Any propane experts or gas fitters ?

So….long ago I purchased a 6ft braided stainless propane hose, with one end a fitting to fit the 20lb tank and the other end a fitting to fit a Coleman stove or small bbq (idea is the hose takes the place of a 1lb tank)…BUT after review I realized it has no regulator….BUT the Coleman stove has a small pre-set regulator for use with 1lb tanks...so the question is….would the little regulator from the Coleman stove be suitable to use with 20lb tank ?

I was thinking that the pressure given by the liquid propane wanting to vaporize should be the same in a 1lb tank as in a 20lb tank….?

I use the same setup with my stove it works perfect.
