Every couple of years, I get images of an elk or two on my trail cams. This is the first time that an elk has shown up at this particular site. It’s not a very good image as you can only see part of the antlers. If I get a better image, I’ll post it,
A few years ago we had a monster cross the road in front of us, north of Stratton at night on our way up to camp. There were a couple others in the field. Nice to see !

I was in Alberta for work last week, extended the trip for a day, and took a drive up to Jasper. the amount of Elk I saw there is just amazing.
Wish we had that here ! meanwhile gonna try to plan a proper trip there to hunt elk
