Mentoring duck hunters
I live in the Walkerton area and since retiring up here in 2012, I have taken out new hunters. If you are an inexperienced or new duck hunter and want to try it out, let me know.
If you have the flexibility to hunt during the week, there are more opportunities to get out. I have some spots to hunt and lots of decoys, blinds, etc
I would prefer people within an hour of me. Male, female or couples, all welcome. Also apprentice hunters.
We are not likely to shoot limits but I will show you how to hunt ducks safely, how to clean your ducks and some ideas on cooking them.
If you are open to learning we can have a good time. Message if you are interested. Thanks.

Kudos to you on your gracious offer ! I've mentored a couple of guys I've met on this site and found good friends in doing so. I'm training a new dog this year so my hands are full but maybe next year I could offer the same experience to a newbie. Having all the equipment and skill sets to introduce a new hunter into waterfowling and especially at zero cost to them would be like winning a lottery. I was lucky as my Dad was a diehard duckhunter as are most of my brothers and we all started young.

Any mentors for waterfowl in Durham (Oshawa) area? My dad is finally retired and I have some on and off days. I would love to personally get some in-field mentorship to boost our confidence in hunting waterfowl.

Looks like fall weather is coming and some much needed rainfall.
