probably acid rot, maybe the hide wasn't neutralized adequately during the tanning process
Good idea, but I dont shoot them anymore. Early in my hunting life I did mostly because I was not seeing deer, but now my hunting time has decreased due to work schedules I choose to continue hunting when I see one and let it pass so I can focus on filling the freezer.Quote:
