Looking for a outfitter that has tag for the upcoming 2024 season any leads would help want to stay in Ontario
That’s an open ended question. Most outfitters have their 2024 moose tags all ready committed.
You need to figure out whether you want a drive-to or fly-in hunt. You also need to nail down where you want to hunt in the province. My guess is you may have better luck getting an fly-in outfitter tag as the drive to guys get fewer tags.
Do a google search for fly-in hunts for Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Armstrong, and Nakina. Someone will have a tag available.
Thanks but i feel the group does not want to fly in but not ruled out
We have been hunting moose for 10yrs and yes we googled moose tags ontario we hunt with firearms not archery (no issue with archery) the post above says northland rr ? Explain please
Ontario Northland Railway runs a twice daily train between Cochrane and Moosenee. Hunters can be dropped off anywhere along the line they choose and set up a camp. Of course, they'd need to be completely self sufficient, but, tag availability is considerably higher in the WMU's along the route. Outfitters can also be found that cater specifically to hunting groups using this method of travel. NOTOA should be able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks for explaining
