Milder winter and much less snow
I think that the combination of much warmer temperatures this winter, combined with much less snow on the ground, should result is heavier Turkeys than usual. They are not using reserves to keep warm and they have had easy access to food sources. While coyotes can also get around more easily, I think the survival rate for turkeys should be higher than usual.
This is a great time of year to start scouting and to do some shed hunting at the same time. Located in WMU 84.
