Mentoring new hunters in WMU 84

Once again I am mentoring new hunters near my property near Walkerton. I usually have 3 or 4 blinds with see through walls so that new hunters can be comfortable and get to watch turkeys and other wildlife. Having this many blinds allows me to move hunt different locations so the birds don’t get stressed. I do charge a nominal fee to help cover the cost of blinds, decoys, etc.
If you do shoot a Turkey, we will go to my place to butcher the bird.
I have been hunting turkeys for 17 years and will show the new hunter how to use calls, what equipment is needed and how best to get the meat from a harvested bird.

This is a great opportunity for new hunters or new to turkey hunting. Thanks John for doing this for others.

Good on you for mentoring. In my opinion this should be supported by the MNRF much more than simply allowing it.
