Had a few close calls myself. One this past February:

Another in the fall of 2021 when i broke my leg while out solo off-grid bow hunting in the Fall of 2021. Have a trip report on that incident somewhere but can't seem to put my hands on it. Long story short - it all worked out and i self rescued but not without its moments.
At the end of the day though i have no intention of stopping or slowing down my solo off-grid adventures.
