New Crop

Around my place the farmers usually plant - corn, soybeans and potatoes - last year and this year there are thousands of acres planted with sunflowers - it's a beautiful sight to see acres of yellow when they are blooming - from what I read the seeds are used for making cooking oil - and I'm sure the wild life will like the seeds too - we are in for another week of real hot weather again - too hot to do much outside - looking forward to the cool weather again - take care guys - big day coming up in November -

I was reading about how bad some of the seed oils are for your health - one exception is sun flower oil - I guess the word about the other seed oils is getting out and sunflower oil is becoming popular - olive oil seems to be the best to use -
