So on my drive into work today had a Blue heron fly over the 407/410 area. Thought by now they would all be gone. Unusual weather effecting migration? heck if I had the time would go look for woodcock :silly:

Strange weather for sure there are still sandhill cranes in the cut corn fields in my area

I lived in Mississauga for over thirty years so I am familiar with the area that you have referred to. I now live in Port Rowan overlooking Long Point Bay and I saw a Great Blue Heron between Christmas and New Years feeding on minnows in some shallow open water.
