Turkey success

Was out Fri/Sat/Sun last weekend and Sat/Sun this weekend. Had some less than ideal weather last weekend. The rain Saturday and high winds Sunday. Saw hens every day. Finally had two jakes and a hen come in on Sunday, and shot one of the jakes. There was not the usual amount of gobbling going on. A fair amount of shooting opening weekend. Not much this weekend.

Congratulations on your bird. I'm still hunting. I can hear them but can't see them. They seem to be going the opposite way so far this year. Hopefully it will come soon for me. Patience is a virtue.

Congrats....numbers seem to down were I usually go
