[COLOR=#000000]My daughter's second year hunting and she got herself a tom! We were set by 5:30 and right away we heard gobbling. At 6:05 we saw the tom come over the hill about 50 yards away in full strut with 2 hens infront of him. At 6:08 she took the shot and TURKEY DOWN! The tom weighed in at 22.5 lbs, 12.75" beard and 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" spurs! So proud of her!
now that is quite the 1st bird. Congratulations are definitely in order for that bird.
