RGS 2nd Annual Dog Day

A few pics from the 2nd annual dog training fun day held near Midland by the Central Ontario Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society.

13 handlers ranging from beginners to veterans brought with them 14 dogs representing 11 different breeds of pointing and flushing varieties.

It was great to see all sharing of advice, mentoring, incredible work from seasoned dogs and the excitement of young dogs getting their first bird exposures!

Great report and photos! Nice to see a Nova Scotia Duck Toller in the bunch.

Missing from the pics are the Brittanys, and we even had two Picardy Spaniels!

agreed all pictures look great. you don't hear about or see many tollers around. have been told that they could stop being around all together, which would be a shame.

It would be a shame. We have one in our family and I love her and think she is a great dog.
