Bass Pro Shop in Ottawa 2015

Bass Pro Shop opening new store in Ottawa in front of Canadien Tire Center.

Guess were not going to get a Cabelas there, like someone had suggested might be the case...

Very unfortunate that it isn't a Cabelas. And now we'll never have on in the Ottawa area as Cabelas is very afraid of competition and smaller markets.

Cabelas in Barrie isn't very from Bass Pro in Vaughn

Like I said in another thread....bummer...as I too was hoping for a Cabela's.

The distance between the two is much larger than West/East end Ottawa. Not to mention a population gap of about 5 million between GTA & Barrie > Greater Ottawa.

I'm very sorry for your luck. I think bass pro is an over priced, lower end product vendor. They should stay in the States. We have Wholesale Sports here, better than BP any day, but the local shops are really the very best of all.
