just picked up some of these tips wondering if any one else has used these cant wait to get out and try them out from the vids on youtube they have some real stopping power haha. just wondered what others have experienced not totally sure on what to expect in terms of arrow flight.
First great choice.. they fly nice. I like to have arrows with 4" fletchings to put a good spin on the arrow. If you have a good spin the arrow flys very well, but more important is the fact that when the head hits an animal the spin gives the head lots of torque. This can turn a questionable hit into a clean kill as the pedals of the Sgh will catch and pull the arrow into the animal. I have seen arrows pulled almost 90 degree around into the animal. The effect on small game is like drilling a hole in them. Head shots are 100% instant kills, looking more like a high power rifle hit then an arrow hit..
I tried them a few years ago and had a bad batch. Sent G5 an e-mail and explained what had happened , 3 days later a new pack was in my mailbox. Never had an issue with them again. plus Great customer service.

thats good about the customer services issue, I picked up some of the cheaper version of the judo point but I don't really have to much faith in them so I hoped on the chance to get some of the sgh's haha it was a very tough choice between the g5 heads and those expanding small game broad heads by Easton v3's but the thought of having to worry about the orings all the time, the fact that for the same price I could get another g5 sgh and how simple the sgh's are is what ended up winning the choice but it took about 15 minutes of deciding to make a choice. cant wait for this cold snap to pass so I can get out and go for a walk in the bush with my new arrow heads
