5th coyote of the season!

My plan worked out perfect. Last year I got frustrated that I couldn't get coyotes to come to the call in February when they're breeding, and I had good success all winter prior. I pushed a bush lot where I thought they would be bedding and a coyote went out to my buddy and he shot it. So I thought what if I put some bait at the top end of the bush? Maybe this will keep them bedding in close proximity and we can repeat what we did today? So I did exactly that and a week ago I got pictures of this coyote at the bait. Tonight I went in and set up on the power line intersecting the woods and my buddy dogged out the woods towards me. 10 minutes and the coyote came running out on the exact same place his did and I let it get to 30 yards and shot it on the run with my 22-250. Great when a plan comes together.
